Needs new and cleaner interface design Gets the work done quick and very thought out
Use it for tracking all my time at work its great.
Simple to use, functionality is wonderful, so organized. I love it. I can break down my projects and see total numbers or I can look at the grand picture and see a high level overview of my work. Overall, Im very pleased.
Very useful, but what stops me from buying full version, its that no full preview description of session - only in editing mode. No preview timeline of sessions.
This app has the best interface from other similar apps. Very user friendly and easy to use. Definitely will recommend.
2 project od not lite is demo . Font lose time
Go for the full version!
After trying out the free desktop version I noticed that there are now a bunch of missing events on the calendar I chose to sync with from my ical!! Some events have been moved around to different days and some of them now say "ADMIN" even after I changed the category type they still say "ADMIN". I also could not import my contacts and could not sync to the app on my iPhone unless I pay for the full version. This was supposed to help me get organized and now I just dug myself into a deeper hole with this POS program!!
Couldnt figure out how to export/email the report. Useless to me without this option. Seemed straightforward to use otherwise.
It sucked typing all the dates in before hahaa
No split screen, and could use some higher resolution UI elements
Im so sick of apps claiming to be free when they are not! Im just looking for a free, easy time keeping app and this is not it. After entering 2 days they were asking me to upgrade and pay.
As a freelancer, its really important that I track how much time I spend on projects. This helps me figure out what to bill clients, but also helps me stay on budget and estimate for he future. This app is great for tracking time for my projects, especially when its onsite and I might not have access to my normal machine. The interface is easy to use, looks good, and does what I need it to do. The main downside is that the report functionality isnt as robust as I would like. Its not always easy to get summaries of projects based on several factors. You can get reports though, and it may just depend on what youre looking for. Also, I if you use the OSX app, you can buy the upgrade to sync your time there. Great feature. Otherwise, this version is fully functional.
Ive been using the desktop version for the last 6 months and love that I can track my time by project. It has really helped me with estimating and bidding, since I have the reports of the time I actually spent on similar projects (and tend to always underestimate how long things take). And now with the iPhone version, I can capture off site meetings and travel time.
Being able to keep track of time is something Ive struggled with both personally and professionally. I am a freelance writer by profession and a procrastinator by habit. Seeing as my schedule is set by none other than myself, finding a productive routine and sticking to it in my day-to-day life is literally a life-saving pursuit. Bills must be paid, portfolios must be padded, and I must experience that wonderful joy of getting a huge project done on time (and getting paid for it)! OfficeTime has helped me manage the time I have each day by allotting each minute toward something important to me. For my writing, each job gets its own title and category, so I know which is priority and which project it is for. This way, I can work on different sections of projects without feeling overwhelmed by the amount of stuff to do all at once! It helps me reduce large projects to their individual components. Even free time is sometimes scheduled out so I can stay on top of finishing a book Ive been putting off for "lack of time" (read: procrastinating) or getting those chores done before my house looks like a pig pen! Being able to track time in a very literal way--in dollars, no doubt--is a good motivator, too! Seeing as writing is my sustenance, the digital numbers on the screen turn to real dollars in hand when a project is done. Being a stickler for organization and exactness, having hours translate to the precise cent Ive worked for is comforting. This way, I dont have to round up (or, in most cases, down), and I get every penny that counts! Thanks, OfficeTime!
Great app for the freelancer, it makes tracking and billing client much easier!
A must for freelance designers
it has a limit of two projects, I have a different project everyday so now that its the third day i have to delete this app.
Not worth even trying with only two projects.
